certificates

Our suppliers use and advertise the following certificates. So that you also have the opportunity to get a fair and neutral impression as possible, we want to briefly explain the certificates here!

OEKO Tex Standard 100

All products that bear this seal are free from harmful substances that are prohibited by law. Although the residues of harmful substances are checked, the manufacturing methods are not. The seal only applies to textiles. You can find more information about the seal at Utopia , for example

Fair Wear Foundation

The FairWear Foundation is an association of associations, unions and NGOs. Their goal is to improve the working conditions of the workers in the respective manufacturing companies. Since it is a set goal, the actual status of production can still deviate significantly from the goal. However, many companies in manufacturing countries in the third world are already on the right track. You can also find interesting information about this at Utopia .

OCS 100

“OCS” stands for “Organic Content Standard” and means that at least 95% organic material has been processed. The standard does not only apply to cotton, but to all organic materials and also to the manufacturing chain. However, neither social aspects nor aspects of sustainability in the supply chain are considered and evaluated in the award procedure. You can find more information about this, for example, at Kult-Design-Unikate or at Fair-zieh-an .

GRS

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) only regulates the chemicals and their use within the production process, but not the materials used. However, the GRS also takes social regulations and correct working conditions into account. For more information, see Certifications Controlunion , for example.

PETA

PETA will probably be known to most people – at least by name – but we would like to present some information about PETA here. The PETA certification means that no animal products are used in the manufacture of the textiles. Under Planet Advertising you will find more interesting information about it!
